The Simple Steps to Make a Poem

A poem is the art of written and literature describing about feeling. Many people always express their own feeling into the poem. In other case, it is hard to be made for many people. But I have three simple steps that can be used to make a poem. They are choosing, feeling, and developing.

To make a poem, at first you must choose an idea based on what you feel. The easiest idea that can be used to make a poem is coming from your own feeling because what you feel is what you think. Therefore, it can be easy to make a poem. Another way, you can make a poem from feeling of someone else. It means that you make a poem based on describing of another person who ever felt sadness or happiness. Also you can make it based on experiences.

The second, you must be able to imagine about that idea. For beginner, it is the hard way in making a poem. It is difficult for someone to feel him/her own feeling. Thus, you need a quite condition that cannot disturb your mind. A quite condition makes your mind more relaxed in developing your idea. After that, you need an abstract thinking which is the major key in making a poem. Abstract thinking can help you to arrange words, sentences, and your feeling so that your poem is more interesting to be read. In addition, you also need a beautiful place such as seashore and mountain that can help you to refresh your mind while making a poem.

The third, you must develop and write your idea that has been made based on previous paragraph. In writting, you must pay attention the word that will be used. It is called diction. Diction is sometimes hard, but you can use “Thesaurus” in Microsoft Word to find synonim of the word to make your poem more interesting. And at last, you should make your poem in some couplet having the same rhyme, and different means in each couplet.

In conclution, making a poem is needed three simple steps which can be used by anyone. At first, you must choose an idea based on experiences or feeling. The second, you must imagine about that idea. It needs a quite condition, an abstract thinking, and beautiful place so that your mind is able to think well. And the last, you must develop and write your idea that has been made as well as possible by paying attention diction, rhyme, and couplet. In brief, the poem, a literature describing about felling, can be made with three simple steps such as, choosing, feeling, and developing; can be made by anyone, anywhere, and anytime.
